Smallville: Relic
Bizarre but interesting

This week's Smallville raises a bunch of new questions about the Superman universe. That was basically what the episode was about other than showing a bunch of necking by the characters.
So what questions are raised?
1) Why was Jorel sent to Earth?
2) What does the medallion mean going forward?
3) Who killed Lex Luthor's Grand father?
4) How did the Luthor's succeed given that Luthor's grand father was a crook and a murderer?
5) Is Jorel good or bad?
It was an interesting episode but unlike most Smallville's not enjoyable enough to see again for me.
6/10.

1) paralle to Lex Luthor getting send to Smallville as a punishment and rite of passage. To see if he can tough it out.
2) Jorel doesn't want his father to know his innermost thoughts. He left his journal on Earth.
3) That one is easy. Lionel Luther, working in the print shop, with easy access to volatile chemical blew up his own parents. One can almost imagaine he did this in conjunction with Morgan Edge...
4) Lionel Luthor got Lex Luthor's origin story in this show. In the comics, Lex Luthor is a self-made man who worked his way out of the murder alley.
